OUR ORIGINS
Planted in 2014 by Awaken Las Vegas, Awaken Great Bay was established as a spiritual hub for Seacoast New Hampshire, carrying a deep calling to bring Christ’s light to Greater New England and beyond.
OUR PURPOSE
LIVING FOR CHRIST
We want to fulfill the great commission by walking out God's Calling to wake up the spiritually dead.
"Awake, O sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."

Our Beliefs
WE EXIST TO LOVE GOD AND OTHERS
Fulfilling the entire law as summarized by Jesus. This love is only possible through the power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives.
PEOPLE ARE OUR PURPOSE
We believe there is no higher calling than proclaiming the gospel of Christ through word and actions to love others.
SERVING IS OUR PRIVILEGE
Through serving God and others, we mature spiritually and find true joy loving them like Jesus.
FAITH IS OUR RESPONSE
A life led by the Holy Spirit is the best life, and God's grace is always sufficient when we fall short.
COMMUNITY IS OUR DESIRE
We aim to be a life-changing community where each member becomes a clearer image of Jesus to make known his love for the Seacoast and beyond.
WORSHIP IS OUR PASSION
Our entire lives are an offering of worship to God.
THE WORD IS OUR GUIDE
All Scripture is God-breathed, alive, and infallible. We hold God's Word as the ultimate authority on how we live and teach expository, verse-by-verse, to uncover its profound truths.

Jesus is the only Son of God, who died for all who believe. So that we can truly live.
A Calvary Chapel Church
Awaken Great Bay is proud to be a Calvary Chapel church within the Awaken Community, offering accountability and fellowship within a respected global network. While maintaining our independent, non-denominational status, each church governs itself with its own leadership, pastors, and elders.
At Awaken, we follow the Calvary Chapel “Moses model” of leadership. The lead pastor carries the responsibility before God to guide the church, while appointing and working with elders and ministry leaders as advisors and co-laborers. This approach keeps us both accountable and free to pursue the mission God has given our community.
